Why Are Dollar Donations On My Water Bill?

Over the years the donations have been used to benefit the Parks, Community Center and Fire Department without it being an impact on the City Budget. It is a voluntary donation that can only be approved to be spent by the City Council and at your request can be removed from your bill, but the $12 annually does so much to benefit our children and community as a whole and the funds collected can only be used for parks, community center, fire, and now, animal shelter, nothing else.
If you are not already signed up to donate, please contact the City of River Oaks Water Department if you would like to add the $1 donation to your bill.
