River Oaks Fire Department Recognized

Engineer Matt Marburger, Firefighter James Barker, Justin Jacobs, and Captain Greg Stockton received the Life Saving Recognition as presented by Parkland Trauma Center today. On September 20, 2021 while responding to a structure fire in Fort Worth, River Oaks was advised the homeowner was still inside and both River Oaks and Fort Worth crews together began working on the patient with burns. Afterwards, the patient was flown by care flight to Parkland Hospital. It with great news that the homeowner later survived his burns thanks to the quick response of Fort Worth, River Oaks, Care Flight and Med Star.
