River Oaks Crime Control and Prevention District (CCPD) has called an election on the question of whether to continue the District for 20-Years. The CCPD is a special purpose district created to generate dedicated funding from 1/2 cent sales tax for law enforcement and crime reduction strategies. THIS IS NOT A NEW TAX OR TAX INCREASE. VOTING STARTS APRIL 20TH (SEE ENCLOSED NOTICE OF ELECTION AND FLYER AS TO WHAT CCPD FUNDS)
